In the fall of 2022, several more members joined the band, allowing the expansive sounds to flourish. It is there where she began writing songs for her current project, nightjar in 2019. She produces unique and profound pieces that draw from her experience as a traveling folk artist, a background in classical piano, studies in poetry, and the French Touch electronic scene in Nantes, France. Nightjar is a project started by Melanie LaFoy in 2019 who hails from Maryville, TN. In the summer of 2023, Tinca Tinca began a delightful partnership with the Old City Performing Arts Center as an artist on the roster of their newly-formed performing arts label. Tickets for Bijou shows are available by phone at 86 option 2, or in person at the Tennessee Theatre Box Office located at 224 Clinch Avenue (10am to 5pm Monday-Friday, and 10am to 2pm on Saturday). Some on-street parking is available on surrounding streets. The State Street, Market Square and Locust Street garages are free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. The closest parking is a pay lot across Cumberland. WHERE TO PARK? Several parking lots and on-street metered spaces are located near the Bijou Theatre. Their Southern roots carry over to their band name as well: Muscadine grapes grow in the South while Bloodline represents their heritage. ![]() Since naming themselves Muscadine Bloodline in 2015, they have sold out shows across the South, opened concerts for hundreds of artists, and earned a standing ovation at their Grand Ole Opry debut in 2018. In 2012, they forged a friendship when Stanton opened a show for Muncaster's band at Soul Kitchen in Mobile.
